This is my blog page. I find that sometimes the best way to get out what I'm thinking is writing it out. So here is what I'm thinking:

Here is my latest post:

My Life Playlist

So, music. The genres, streaming, and creating is endless, and the amount of consumption can never be enough. It reminds me of finding the perfect jeans. The hunt never ends. So some might ask, why do we keep looking for it? Some may say it is the way finding a new song makes you feel.

Say you are driving on the freeway and your playlist deviates to random songs that the streaming service curates for you. This song you have never heard now becomes your obsession. You listen to while you are working out, driving, and walking to your destination. This song that found its way to you has now made you feel some type of peace and exhilaration all at the same time. Then slowly, we find ourselves listening less and less, moving onto the next vibe or playlist. What has happened.

This song is added to the ever going list in your head. It was a song that when you are listening to past that time, you feel whatever season or emotion again. The nostalgia of it all. I find that I always find songs in the summer that I connect to. Even if the song is kind of superficial; the song puts you in a good move. Moving your hand with the wind outside of your car. You feel all the emotions of possibilities and the perhaps. This is music for the soul. The songs that even if we do not listen to for a while, you hear it and the instant rush of the emotional high comes back. This is why we all go back to the music. Why the search for the song never ends. The remembrance of feeling. The memory of your mom cooking with her favorite James Taylor song on. Or your dad blasting his favorite Clash songs early on a Saturday morning. Or the first song you drive to when you get your license. These all leave an everlasting impact that keeps us going and expanding the library of music of our life.

I thought since I am talking about music I cannot leave this page dry. Here is my Music for the Soul:
